“Shelter in the Storm” is a tender, symbolic drawing created with gold and silver ink on deep black cardstock. Two cats sit together in a rainstorm — one holding a golden umbrella over the other, offering warmth, protection, and companionship. This piece reflects the mission of ECWAR, the Edmonton Cold Weather Animal Rescue, where abandoned and vulnerable cats rely on each other and the people who step in to help. The metallic ink glows against the dark background, highlighting themes of kindness, resilience, and love. A heartfelt artwork created to support rescue animals, with 80% of proceeds donated to ECWAR
